The right option for every trip.
1-Click, the open-source trip-planning platform from CS Software, connects riders with trip options tailored to their needs and circumstances.
As the variety of transportation options grows, travelers want to know all those available to them. While riders face the challenge of determining which service best fits their needs, agencies struggle to accurately present the service options they provide.
1-Click solves this challenge through a virtual “trip aggregator” that assembles information on a wide variety of available modes: public transit, private, rail, rideshare, carpool, volunteer, paratransit, and walking and biking. The platform makes this information directly available to travelers through slick, easy-to-use mobile web sites, and indirectly available through other applications that support reservations, trip booking, medical scheduling and more.
Simplified Mobility Management. Travelers and those who assist them can be overwhelmed by the time, cost and convenience tradeoffs in reviewing trip options. 1-Click simplifies the trip planning process by assessing eligibility requirements and rider needs, enabling travelers to evaluate their options and providing call center or social service staff with the necessary information to identify options that meet the needs of every traveler.
Integrated Transportation. At the core of 1-Click is a set of tools that leverage open and published data standards like GTFS, GTFS-Flex, the Uber/Lyft APIs, and more to provide a comprehensive, multimodal trip planning capability that screens travel options and organizes them for use by other systems, including the 1-Click|CS mobile web site.
Tailor trip planning options to specific needs, choices and schedules of for each individual, based on factors including age, physical mobility limitations, Medicaid eligibility, veterans’ eligibility, and tradeoff preferences for time, cost and convenience.
Centralize and store data securely to generate a variety of reports to help manage operations more efficiently.
The platform runs on laptops, tablets, kiosks and smartphones, and it supports multiple languages.
Unlike commercial solutions, an open-source platform allows a nationwide community of mobility partners to develop and enhance 1-Click.
1-Click is a responsive web-based application designed to operate on personal computers, tablets, smart phones and specially designed interactive kiosks. It supports the current and immediately previous versions of the four major web browsers (Internet Explorer, Chrome, Safari and Firefox). It can be securely hosted via Amazon Web Services, or hosted via a client IT facility. It is built using Ruby, Ruby on Rails, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript and JQuery. It uses both Google Maps and OpenStreetMap, a component of OpenTripPlanner.
